Q&A

We are an elite personal injury trial firm founded by trial attorneys each with their own record-setting nine-figure verdicts. We joined forces to help injury victims across the country.  After a $100 million verdict in 2022, the largest verdict in Connecticut history, CSG's lawyers obtained a $485 million verdict in New Mexico in 2023, which is believed to be the largest single-plaintiff sex abuse verdict in history. In 2025, CSG's lawyers obtained a record-breaking $145 million verdict in a workers' comp case, which was reported as the largest bad faith verdict in U.S. history.

We make history, day in and day out, because our mission is to be excellent in everything we do and to get the best result for every client. From compassion to client communication, there is no case too big or too small for our team. You won’t find us on billboards or buses, but you will find us in record books. Two of our recent verdicts were the largest in those courthouses in Connecticut history. Hire a heavy hitting Connecticut team with national recognition because you deserve a team of the best personal injury lawyers in your corner. We're committed to delivering the best client experience for every client, every day.

How can I afford to hire you?

We work on a contingency fee, which means that you don't pay us anything unless we're successful. We stand by you and advance any cost necessary to obtain the maximum result for you. We take the burden off of you, protect you and your family from the insurance company, and guide you through the process every step of the way.

Is my personal injury case too small for your firm to handle?

No. Our mission is to help every client we can, every day, no matter the size of your case. Our team of attorneys is committed to obtaining full justice for you and your family, no matter the extent of your injuries. Our goal is to help you heal and to make communities safer.

Will my case take longer because you have a firm of trial lawyers?

No. In fact, our trial experience and track record of consistent, historic jury verdicts means cases resolve sooner than other law firms can deliver. Insurance companies keep track of which law firms have the resources and skills to go to trial. They offer less money to law firms and lawyers who do not try cases. Insurance companies know that they cannot lowball our clients because we will take them to trial and hold them accountable. We have a track record of obtaining policy limit and maximum results for our clients faster than other law firms because insurers know we're serious.

I will never forget the feeling of hearing the $100 million verdict read in Cruz et al. v. Spec Personnel, LLC et al. There were tears and we hugged our clients tightly. Our firm and our clients fought for years to hold Philips Lighting accountable for paralyzing our client. To know that the jury saw, understood, and valued the losses our clients suffered was incredibly powerful.

Committed injury trial lawyers know the difference between sympathy and empathy. Brené Brown says that empathy is the willingness to climb down into the hole with someone, sit with them, and to listen to understand. At the heart of the work we do is the willingness to sit in the darkness with our clients, to understand the deep ways that injuries are a harm to the person and to their family. We are not afraid to listen, to understand your pain, to do our best to help carry it with you, and to do everything we can to fight for justice.

Outside of work I enjoy coaching my kids' sports, playing mediocre golf, and working on carpentry projects in my workshop. I live in Farmington, Connecticut, with my college sweetheart, Jenny, and my three young children.
