Andrew Biderman is Chair of Torkin Manes LLP’s Banking & Financial Services Group in Toronto, Ontario. His practice is focused on debt financing transactions and advising clients on a broad range of banking and finance matters, including Asset-Based Lending Practice and Banking and Finance Law.
Andrew acts for public, private and institutional clients in connection with secured and unsecured lending transactions, acquisition financing, syndicated loans, cross-border financings, asset-based lending arrangements, vendor take-back financing and divestitures arising in restructuring contexts. With more than 25 years of experience in loan-related matters, he provides practical and strategic counsel tailored to the needs of borrowers, lenders and other stakeholders involved in complex financing transactions.
Drawing on his experience representing both debtors and creditors, Andrew assists clients in addressing the legal and commercial considerations that can arise throughout the course of a transaction. He works closely with clients to help manage risk, address timing and cost considerations, and facilitate efficient outcomes through a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
