Andrew "Andy" Maglione

Andrew Maglione is an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Healthcare group. He represents healthcare industry clients, including providers, in various regulatory and transactional matters.

Compliance and Regulatory

I advise clients on a wide range of regulatory and compliance issues, including complex fraud and abuse laws, Medicare and Medicaid, scope of practice, and licensing and certification compliance.

I counsel healthcare providers and business associates on all aspects of compliance with HIPAA and advise on the full spectrum of health information concerns, including behavioral health and substance use information.

I work with healthcare industry clients on a variety of transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. I also assist clients with other contractual needs, including professional services agreements and other relevant agreements necessary to comply with state and federal healthcare laws.
