Andreas Freitag

Dr Andreas Freitag has been working as a lawyer in Hamburg with a focus on intellectual property and IT law since 1993. He advises and represents national and international clients with regard to the development, exploitation and defence of their intellectual property rights and licensing strategies, in particular in the areas of fashion (design), cosmetics, advertising, software development and social media. He has particular experience in supporting cooperations and projects relating to developers, content, brands, media and telecommunications companies, including antitrust law and data protection law (R&D cooperations, joint content production, marketing cooperations). In the field of digital media, Dr Freitag advises on the drafting of contracts as well as on electronic and mobile services (advertising and consumer law, data protection, user contracts). He is also responsible for IT and data protection at the Hamburg office.
