Biography
Amy Ford’s commitment to family law began before she was licensed by the State Bar of Texas, while she was still a law student at Texas A&M University School of Law. During law school, she worked in the school’s legal clinic, where she assisted individuals who otherwise lacked access to legal representation. That experience shaped her professional focus, and when Amy opened her own practice, she dedicated her work exclusively to family law—a focus she continues today at Mueller Family Law in Dallas, Texas.
Through her early work at the legal clinic and throughout her legal career, Amy has seen how thoughtful preparation and clear communication can influence divorce and child custody matters. She understands that no two family law cases are the same and that each client’s situation involves personal, financial, and long-term considerations.
From the initial consultation, Amy strives to create a supportive and straightforward environment so clients feel informed and comfortable throughout the legal process. Her family law practice includes matters involving divorce, child custody, paternity, and enforcement, with attention given to both immediate concerns and future implications.
Clients working with Amy can expect a lawyer who is focused on family law and committed to helping them navigate important decisions with clarity and care. Her approach considers how legal outcomes may affect clients not only today, but also years down the road.
Amy lives in Rockwall with her husband and two children. Outside of her family law practice, she enjoys professional baseball, college football, reading, and running with her energetic Belgian Malinois.
