Biography
Amos Gern is a Past-President of ATLA-NJ (now New Jersey Association for Justice, NJAJ), and served until late July 2008. He is the Senior Managing Partner of Starr, Gern, Davison & Rubin, in Roseland, New Jersey, and specializes in all areas of personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice, product liability, auto negligence, premises liability, construction/workplace accidents, and other complex civil litigation. He has been designated a certified civil trial attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court since 1985, and a civil trial advocate through the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1989. He has been a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Civil Practice since 2008. Mr. Gern is a 1967 magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers University and a 1970 graduate of New York University School of Law. He has been selected by NJ Super Lawyers Magazine (2005 – 2018) in the fields of plaintiffs’ Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury (13 years), Top 100 in New Jersey (2014-16, 2018) and Top 10 in New Jersey (2017).
Starr, Gern, Davison,& Rubin, PC has an extensive personal injury practice, including automobile negligence, medical malpractice, professional liability, product liability, construction and industrial accidents, work-related injuries, and complex civil litigation. The firm consists of 21 attorneys and practices extensively in a wide range of corporate, commercial, real-estate, environmental areas, including litigation in all state and federal courts and before arbitration tribunals.
