Raised in McNairy County and now residing in Tipton County, Amber G. Shaw represents clients throughout Tennessee from Harris Shelton PLLC’s Covington office. Her practice includes Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs and other complex civil litigation matters. She regularly works with individuals and families from rural communities across the region.
Amber handles a range of litigation matters, including catastrophic injury claims such as motor vehicle collisions, products liability cases involving injuries caused by defective or dangerous products, matters involving allegations of fraud, business disputes, and issues affecting county and municipal entities. Her work frequently involves cases that require detailed investigation, coordination with technical professionals, and preparation for trial.
Trial advocacy has been a central part of Amber’s practice for more than 17 years. She has handled jury and bench trials in courts across West Tennessee, including Shelby, Dyer, Tipton, Lauderdale, Hardeman, McNairy, and Madison counties, and has also appeared in DeSoto County, Mississippi, and in courts in Middle Tennessee when cases require it.
Before joining Harris Shelton PLLC, Amber practiced for 12 years with her longtime mentor and former law partner, J. Houston Gordon. Through her years in practice, she has represented clients during challenging moments in their lives, guiding them through the legal process and advocating for their interests in court.
