Amanda L. Zink

Ms. Zink is a litigation partner at Lipe Lyons Murphy Nahrstadt & Pontikis LTD in Chicago, Illinois. Her practice focuses on insurance defense litigation, including personal injury, premises liability, construction liability, employer liability, and product liability matters. She regularly represents insurers and insureds in complex civil litigation and is known for thorough research, clear legal writing, and strategic motion practice. Ms. Zink has successfully obtained more than 23 summary judgment rulings on behalf of her clients.

Throughout her legal career, Ms. Zink has handled a wide range of matters involving personal injury and wrongful death claims, construction litigation, premises liability, employer liability, products liability, property damage, catastrophic fire loss, condominium disputes, and sexual abuse claims. Her experience includes arbitration proceedings as well as trial work in both state and federal courts.

Before joining Lipe Lyons Murphy Nahrstadt & Pontikis LTD, Ms. Zink spent more than a decade as in-house counsel for The Hartford, where she defended insureds in insurance litigation across multiple jurisdictions. This background provides her with valuable insight into insurance coverage issues, claims handling, and litigation strategy.

Ms. Zink is a member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel and is active in The Advocates Society – The Association of Polish-American Attorneys. Since 2015, she has performed the United States National Anthem and the Polish national anthem in Polish at the Advocates’ Officer Installation Ceremonies.
