Based in Albany, New York, Amanda Johnson is part of the Harris Beach Murtha team. She focuses on corporate law, working predominantly with private companies on legal business matters such as mergers and acquisitions, and the structuring of debt and equity offerings. Amanda offers legal guidance on drafting and negotiating key documents including term sheets, stock and asset purchase agreements, and consents for the board and stockholders in private company financings and acquisitions.
Additionally, Amanda advises on entity formation and corporate governance matters. Her professional scope also covers commercial real estate, where she prepares contracts and offers counsel on commercial leases and license agreements.
During her time in law school, Amanda gained valuable experience serving as a legal intern for the Hon. Daniel J. Stewart at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. She also interned with the special victims unit of the Albany County District Attorney’s office, providing significant exposure to a variety of legal issues.
