Biography
Al Martin has been practicing law for over 30 years. He has tried hundreds of job injury cases in counties throughout South Carolina. He has handled complex cases involving brain injury, incomplete paraplegia, amputations, asbestos inhalation, repetitive trauma, chemical exposure, defective products, post-traumatic stress disorder, Medicare and Medicaid interaction, subrogation, electrocution, and death. In 2005, Al helped establish the firm of Martin & Martin Attorneys, P.A. Since that time, he has devoted his practice to representing injured persons. Since 1998, Al has been awarded an “AV-rating” every year by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards based on the opinions of his peers and adversaries in the legal community. He also has a “10.0 Superb” rating, the highest awarded by AVVO. He has been selected by SuperLawyers for Workers' Compensation since 2020. He is a certified Mediator and handles Workers' Compensation Mediations throughout South Carolina.
