Allan J. Stonhouse

Allan is a partner in the McKercher LLP Saskatoon office with a primary focus on health law.

Allan Stonhouse maintains a general litigation practice with a primary focus on health law. He has a broad range of experience, including in the areas of: Professional Responsibility and Ethics, Medical Malpractice Defence, Administrative Law, Regulatory Proceedings, Commercial and Contractual Disputes, Banking and Foreclosure, Insurance Matters, Class Actions, First Nations Law, and the Environment.

Allan strives to provide clear and practical advice, advocating on his clients’ behalves with the goal of coming to cost-effective resolutions of their disputes or other legal issues. Allan has appeared before the Saskatchewan Court of King’s Bench, Saskatchewan Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Canada, and the Saskatchewan Provincial Court.

Allan is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2008. He joined McKercher LLP in September 2015, prior to which he practiced with a large Western Canadian firm.

Allan was invited to join the partnership in 2018.
