Alicia Lyons

Alicia was admitted to practice in 2012 and called to the Bar in 2017. Alicia appears in a range of matters, with a particular focus on complex commercial litigation, class actions, banking, insurance and financial services law.

Before being called to the Bar, Alicia was Associate to the Hon. Justice Bell of the High Court of Australia. Later, she was an Associate at Allens in the Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group (which included a secondment to ANZ Wealth) and the Banking & Finance Group.

Alicia was awarded the University Medal in Law at the University of Sydney and spent the final semester of her degree on exchange at Harvard Law School. Alicia subsequently attended the University of Oxford on a Clarendon Scholarship, where she received a Bachelor of Civil Laws (Distinction) and the Rupert Cross Prize in Evidence.
