Alexis P. Federico is a civil litigator at Bienert Katzman Littrell Williams LLP representing businesses, insurers, and individuals in complex disputes throughout California, including San Clemente and the surrounding communities. Her practice includes Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense: White-Collar, Insurance Law, and Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions - Plaintiffs.
Alexis handles a broad range of litigation matters involving contract and licensing disputes, business tort claims, corporate governance and partnership disputes, insurance coverage and bad faith claims, class actions, appellate matters, and white-collar defense and investigations. She works with clients through all stages of litigation, from pre-suit strategy and investigations through trial and appeal.
Alexis earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. During law school, she received pro bono high honors and served as a staff editor of the UC Irvine Law Review. She also served as director of the International Refugee Assistance Project at UCI Law. In addition, she was a judicial extern to the Honorable Eileen Moore of the California Court of Appeal for the Fourth District.
Before entering private practice, Alexis served as a helicopter pilot and instructor in the United States Marine Corps. She flew with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 and later with Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One. During her military service, she was selected as the Marine Aircraft Group 40 (Afghanistan) Aviator of the Year and received the Order of the Daedalians United States Marine Corps’ Exceptional Pilot Award.
Alexis remains active in the veteran community. In 2020, she was appointed by the Orange County Board of Supervisors to serve on the OC Veterans Advisory Council, where she advised the board on issues affecting veterans and helped strengthen connections between veterans and community resources.
