Alexander "Sasha" Frid

Sasha Frid is an accomplished, award-winning trial lawyer and a founding partner of Miller Barondess. Mr. Frid has represented international conglomerates, public companies, banks, manufacturers, real estate developers, music labels, entertainers, artists, managers and fashion icons. He successfully litigated cases in a broad range of business and commercial disputes, real estate, entertainment and music law, copyright and trademark, right of publicity, trade secret, idea theft, and insurance bad faith. He is well known in the entertainment community for representing top musicians, including iconic rock bands, and current best-selling rock bands and rap artists such as Mötley Crüe, William “Smokey” Robinson Jr., Nile Rogers, rock-band Journey, the Estate of Tupac Shakur, Axl Rose of Guns N Roses; he successfully represented world-renowned DJ Calvin Harris in an action against a major theme park; represented leading fashion designer AMIRI in a case against a major counterfeiter which led to the shutdown of the illegal counterfeiting operation and criminal charges against the principal; and successfully litigated against a major accounting firm on behalf of legendary boxer Roy Jones, Jr. He represents music managers, record labels, touring companies such as Universal Music Group, Live Nation, Tenth Street Entertainment and Blueprint Artist Management.

Frid’s success as an entertainment and business litigator has earned him acclaim including being named to Billboard’s list of Top Music Lawyers, Variety’s Legal Impact Report, U.S. News Best Lawyers in America®, and Los Angeles Magazine’s list of Super Lawyers®. He was recently welcomed as a member of the Recording Academy®, famous for its GRAMMY Awards. He serves on a charitable foundation raising money for cancer research. He also serves on the Board for a chapter of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces and has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation that provides education to under-privileged youth.
