Alex G. Elborn is an associate attorney with Sutin, Thayer & Browne APC in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He joined the firm in 2021 and is part of the litigation group, representing clients throughout New Mexico in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, commercial foreclosures, and creditors’ rights. His practice also includes real estate litigation involving title issues, easements, boundary disputes, and property tax matters.
In addition to litigation, Alex works with the firm’s health law and corporate law practices, advising institutional clients on statutory and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management. He also represents individual professionals and licensees before state and local regulatory boards. His practice further includes labor and employment law matters on behalf of management, with a focus on counseling employers and addressing employment-related disputes.
Before joining Sutin, Thayer & Browne APC, Alex served as a trial attorney with the New Mexico Law Offices of the Public Defender. In that role, he gained significant courtroom experience and developed a strong foundation in constitutional law and civil rights. He now applies that background in civil and commercial matters, defending institutional clients against complex claims and advocating for professionals and businesses.
