Alex Sidwell

Alex Sidwell is a senior managing associate in Dentons Sirote’s Birmingham, Alabama office. He is a member of the Corporate practice group, focusing his practice in mergers, acquisitions, general corporate law and broker-dealer and investment advisor regulation, including work with financial services firms and multi-state insurance distribution companies.

Alex joined the firm after graduating from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, where he was a research editor and board member for the Cumberland Law Review. Alex earned a Bachelor of Music cum laude from Auburn University and a Master of Music from Appalachian State University, where he worked as a teaching assistant. Alex has previous experience in working with Sirote, having participated in the Summer Associate Program. Additionally, he interned for the Honorable John E. Ott, Chief Magistrate Judge; the Honorable John H. England, III, Magistrate Judge; and the Honorable Madeline H. Haikala, District Judge, all of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
