Alex is an Associate in Fasken’s Vancouver office. He is a dedicated litigator with a practice focusing in construction, insurance, and products liability.
Alex has always practiced exclusively in civil litigation. Prior to joining Fasken, Alex practiced at a respected commercial litigation boutique and, subsequently, a leading regional litigation firm, where he focused on construction and products liability claims and frequently acted as insurance defense counsel or plaintiff’s counsel on subrogated claims.
Alex has significant experience acting as counsel in complex claims concerning issues of design, construction, installation, operation or manufacture. He has represented a wide array of developers, general contractors, sub-trades, engineers, municipalities, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Alex also has extensive experience in home warranty matters, having previously acted as in-house counsel for a national home warranty provider. He regularly acts as counsel for both home warranty providers and registered builders.
