Albert A. Sanchez has practiced law in the Sarasota and Manatee County area for more than thirty years. His practice includes construction law, business law, real estate law, and Litigation - Construction matters for individuals, businesses, contractors, developers, and property owners throughout Southwest Florida.
Born in Tampa, Florida, Mr. Sanchez graduated with High Honors from Riverview High School in Sarasota and was a member of the National Honor Society. He earned his undergraduate degree with High Honors from the University of Florida and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Law Review.
In addition to representing clients in construction disputes, commercial litigation, real estate matters, and business-related legal issues, Mr. Sanchez served from 1998 through 2014 as managing partner for multiple commercial and residential developments and construction projects. These projects included work in St. Armands Circle, downtown Sarasota, Palmer Ranch, and Lakewood Ranch, providing him with practical insight into the legal and operational challenges involved in Florida construction and development matters.
Mr. Sanchez is Board Certified in Business Litigation and was a Certified Building Contractor in the State of Florida from 2012 through 2020. He is also a member of the ABA Forum on Construction Law, including divisions focused on Construction Litigation, Dispute Resolution, and Contract Drafting.
Active in the local community, Mr. Sanchez coached Little League baseball for four years, coached All-Stars for three years, and served as a board member of the organization while his sons participated in the program.
Mr. Sanchez has been married to Carolyn since 1981 and is the father of three children: Kate, Harrison, and Colin.
