Biography
Alan Hegi specializes in real estate, encompassing development, acquisitions, debt financing, sales, leases, and distressed project workouts. His clientele includes developers, investors, and major industries. Mr. Hegi is adept at negotiating reciprocal easements, covenant agreements, development contracts, and debt-financing arrangements. He boasts substantial experience in commercial mortgage loan and portfolio transactions within the secondary market.
Mr. Hegi has been an integral part of Kelly Hart since 1988, holding a partner position in the firm’s Real Estate and Finance practice group. Since 2014, he has co-chaired the Real Estate section. He graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish in 1983. In 1986, he completed his law degree at Vanderbilt University School of Law, earning the prestigious Order of the Coif honor.
