Mr. Easterly joined the firm as a Partner in 1993 and works out of the Chattanooga office.
He is a member of the Chattanooga, Tennessee, American, and Federal Bar Associations, the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Transportation Lawyers Association, the American Law Firm Association (Product liability, Mold, Transportation, Retail, and Employment), the Transportation Loss Prevention and Security Association, the Transportation Lawyers Association, and the Trucking Industry Defense Association. In addition, Mr. Easterly is a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator, and a member of the U.S. District Court Eastern District Federal Mediation Program.
Born in Cleveland, Tennessee, Mr. Easterly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Tennessee (1985), and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis (1988) as a Judge John D. Martin Scholar. He also served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board, and as a member of the school’s National Mock Trial Team.
