Adrian acts for major Australian and international employers across retail, financial services, higher education, transport and both Federal and State Government. His clients include large listed corporates, major public sector employers and universities.
Adrian advises on workplace strategy, enterprise bargaining, wage compliance, transfer of business, misconduct litigation and industrial disputes.
He has particular expertise in regulator engagement, including negotiating enforceable undertakings and responding to statutory notices from the Fair Work Ombudsman. He acts in contested proceedings before the Fair Work Commission and superior courts, including for the State of Victoria.
Adrian has 20 years of experience acting for employers. He has led employment entitlements review programs for major universities involving workforces of thousands of employees, managed long-running multi-site industrial disputes, and advised on enterprise bargaining across complex multi-brand, multi-jurisdiction operations.
His litigation record includes significant proceedings for both private and public sector employers in the Fair Work Commission and Federal and State courts.
Adrian brings an integrated legal and strategic perspective developed across global and national law firms, in-house client secondments (including in Victorian Government) and a multi-disciplinary professional services environment, where he led the national Workplace and Employment Law practice at KPMG Law Australia.
