Personal Injury Litigation

Biography

My goal is to help people who truly need help. Practising personal injury litigation allows me to work closely with individuals and families during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. I value the opportunity to guide clients through the legal process and to see them move forward in a stronger position than when we first met. It is work that I find deeply meaningful.

Adam Wagman is a Toronto-based personal injury lawyer with Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP. He has been named one of the 25 most influential lawyers in Canada by Canadian Lawyer magazine. Adam served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) and was elected President for the 2016–2017 term.

Adam’s practice focuses on personal injury litigation, including accident benefits claims, as well as disability and insurance litigation. He represents individuals who have suffered serious and catastrophic injuries and approaches each case with care, preparation, and determination. His experience includes complex brain injury claims and spinal cord injury claims.

As an avid cyclist and runner, Adam has a particular interest in advocating for people injured in pedestrian and bicycle accidents, as well as motorcycle accidents. He regularly represents clients across Ontario, with a focus on personal injury matters arising in Toronto and the surrounding communities.

A former managing partner at Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP, Adam remains actively involved in the legal community. In addition to his leadership roles with OTLA, he participates in professional and community initiatives, including pro bono activities and charitable events such as the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer. Outside of law, Adam was a member of the award-winning rock band SoSumi, which performed in support of various charitable organizations.
