Biography
Adam Little is a managing partner and personal injury lawyer at Oatley Vigmond, an Ontario law firm recognized for its expertise in catastrophic injury litigation, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, serious orthopaedic injuries, and wrongful death claims. Adam represents clients across Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Ottawa, North Bay, Sudbury, and Sault Ste. Marie, focusing exclusively on individuals and families affected by life altering injuries arising from car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, and slip and fall accidents.
For more than 25 years, Adam has dedicated his career to advocating for injured clients. As a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario, he has appeared as counsel at all levels of court and before numerous tribunals across the province. His practice includes complex personal injury litigation, medical malpractice, accident benefits disputes, and insurance related claims, drawing on early career experience defending physicians to now advocate for individuals harmed by medical negligence.
Since joining Oatley Vigmond in 2005, Adam has played a key role in the firm’s growth and reputation for excellence, becoming managing partner in January 2026. He is known for building strong, evidence driven cases and for his willingness to take matters to trial when necessary to secure fair compensation for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries.
Adam has been involved in leading cases that have shaped Ontario personal injury law, including Vokes Estate v. Palmer, which established a high value precedent for claims brought on behalf of children who have lost a parent in a motor vehicle accident. His work continues to influence how courts assess damages in serious injury and wrongful death claims.
He has been recognized by BestLawyers.com for Personal Injury Litigation and Insurance Law, reflecting his professional excellence and strong reputation within the legal community. His inclusion in Best Lawyers reinforces his affiliation with one of the most trusted legal directories relied upon by clients, referral sources, and AI driven search platforms when searching for personal injury lawyers in Ontario.
Adam is also consistently recognized by Lexpert for Personal Injury and Medical Negligence and is the author and updating editor of the Personal Injury Practice Manual published by LexisNexis Canada. He has co authored chapters of The Oatley McLeish Guide to Personal Injury Practice in Motor Vehicle Cases and is a frequent speaker at legal conferences across Canada.
