Biography
AbiDemi is an associate in Rivkin Radler LLP’s Commercial Litigation and Health Care Law practices, based in Albany, New York. Her practice involves representing businesses and health care providers in commercial disputes, responding to and challenging audit findings issued by health care authorities, and assisting clients with regulatory and compliance matters affecting day-to-day operations.
Before joining Rivkin Radler LLP, AbiDemi practiced at a regional law firm, where she handled a range of commercial litigation, health care litigation, and corporate and regulatory matters. This experience allows her to approach disputes and compliance issues with a practical understanding of both litigation strategy and business considerations.
AbiDemi earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School through its two-year accelerated program. During law school, she served as a student trustee and was a member of the Executive Board of the Albany Law Review. She also worked as a teaching assistant for Constitutional Law and Employment Discrimination. In recognition of her academic performance and professional development, she received the John B. Lurie Memorial Prize and the Wann Family Prize for Excellence in Litigation.
While attending Albany Law School, AbiDemi gained valuable experience through internships with the Litigation Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General and several not-for-profit legal organizations, including the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York, the National Lawyers Guild, and Disability Rights Advocates.
