Abby M. Foster

Abby Foster joined Mueller Family Law Group in 2013 and is now a Partner in the firm. Based in McKinney, Texas, Abby is actively involved in the local legal community. She previously served as President of the Collin County Young Lawyers Association and continues her involvement as a member of the CCYLA Board of Directors. Abby is also a member of the Collin County Women Lawyers Association and the Curt B. Henderson Inn of Courts.

Abby’s legal practice is devoted exclusively to Family Law, with a focus on high-conflict divorce, child custody matters, complex property division issues, and pre-nuptial agreements. She is board certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by a limited number of Texas attorneys.

Abby has been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2017 through 2022 and as a Super Lawyer from 2023 to the present. She has also been granted Fellowship in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). In addition to her litigation practice, Abby has co-authored several legal publications, including a paper for the 31st Advanced Family Law Course presented by the State Bar of Texas.

In 2019–2020, Abby was honored as the Collin County Young Lawyers Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year. She is frequently noted by peers for her professionalism, ethics, civility, and courtroom preparation.

A graduate of Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law), Abby has litigated Family Law matters before judges and juries in Collin, Denton, Dallas, Grayson, Fannin, Kaufman, and Hunt counties.
