We are the oldest law firm in Mexico, with a legacy dating back to 1890. Our history is defined not by stagnation, but by generational reinvention:
Foundation & Legacy: Established as a general litigation firm in the late 19th century. The current structure was consolidated in 1945 by Telesforo Emiliano Ocampo.
Insurance Specialisation: In 1980, under the leadership of Alejandro Ocampo, the firm specialised in insurance and surety law, becoming the cornerstone of our identity today.
Current Leadership: Since 2016, Managing Partner Aldo Ocampo has led the firm into the modern era, positioning it within top-tier international rankings such as Chambers & Partners (Band 4), The Legal 500, Leaders League, and Top Ranked (Tier 2).
We have led emblematic matters, including the Abkatun offshore platform incidents (PEMEX) and the complex Fertinal case. Currently, we represent insurers and reinsurers in major civil liability claims involving CFE, representing multi-billion-dollar contingencies for the insurance sector.
