Robert G. “Hap” Fry, Jr. began his private practice in 1969 with Joyce Caldwell as his legal secretary. In 1983, Judy Willits joined the firm, and eventually became the custody paralegal, a move that prompted Caldwell to become the financial paralegal. In 1991, James Elder joined the firm and Fry, Elder & Henry was established in Tulsa. Attorneys Fry and Elder bring more than 70 years of combined trial experience to the practice. 

Robert Fry and James Elder have both served as chairman of the Tulsa County Bar Association’s Domestic Relations Section. Fry, named a 2007 “Super Lawyer” in Oklahoma, is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and previously served as president of the organization’s Oklahoma chapter. He also frequently lectures on a variety of divorce- and custody-related topics. Elder’s lectures focus on the asset-protection issues prevalent in divorce litigation.
