Since November 2023, Equity and Managing Partner Dr Dominik Roters, a highly experienced lawyer with extensive expertise in medical law, has been at the helm of Dierks+Company. Together with Prof. Dr. Dr. Christian Dierks he is consistently developing the strategy and the integrated business model further. Dominik Roters has held leading positions at the Joint Federal Committee (G-BA) since 2002 and has played a key role in shaping the strategy of the highest decision-making body in the German healthcare system. He has extensive experience in complex legal matters within the healthcare sector, particularly regarding medicinal products, legal issues relating to statutory health insurance, and the use of health data.
Since April 2024, lawyer Anja Tiedemann, a further proven expert in legal matters relating to the healthcare sector and, in particular, the authorisation of medicinal products and reimbursement issues under statutory health insurance, has been part of the Dierks+Company team. As a partner, Anja Tiedemann brings her extensive experience as a legal adviser to the Joint Federal Committee in the areas of needs planning and cross-sectoral care to bear in advising clients. She has extensive experience in medical law. For more than 12 years, she has played a key role in various capacities in both the development of statutory requirements in the healthcare sector and their practical application.
In addition, Andreas Propp, the long-standing legal adviser to the Joint Federal Committee (G-BA), has been working at Dierks+Company since July 2024. A proven expert in medical law and health insurance law, Andreas Propp served as legal adviser in the G-BA’s legal department for over 14 years and is a specialist in matters relating to health technology assessment (HTA). The founder of Dierks+Company, Prof. Dr. med. Dr. iur. Christian Dierks, is regarded as one of Germany’s most renowned experts in pharmaceutical and medical device law. The lawyer, who is a specialist in social and medical law and a general practitioner, has focused on legal consultancy in healthcare and life sciences since the start of his career. He is President of the German Society for Medical Law and teaches medical law and healthcare system research at Charité Universitätsmedizin in Berlin.

Juliana Dierks is a German and American citizen and has a 17-year career in the healthcare industry, including management roles at Shire, Bayer, Medco Health Solutions, Roche and Schering-Plough. Juliana Dierks is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the US and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business & Accounting from the University of Phoenix in the US, as well as a qualification in Taxation, Accounting and Economics from the Tax Advisory Commission in Munich.
