Best Injury Lawyers was established following more than a decade of work in insurance litigation and compensation law.
Our Principal, Ryan Stehlik, previously represented insurers in the defence of claims. In that role, he assessed liability and quantum, reviewed medical and employment records, analysed evidence, and managed disputes through both pre‑court processes and court proceedings.
Over time, Ryan chose to establish Best Injury Lawyers so that the knowledge gained from that work could be applied to assisting individuals making compensation claims. The firm opened in 2020 and now supports people and families who are navigating the legal system after an injury or seeking other forms of compensation.
Whether we are able to act for you, and on what terms, depends on the circumstances of your matter and an assessment of its prospects. We take the time to understand each case before offering to act. Our approach is to help people pursue their rights where legal representation might otherwise feel out of reach.
Where suitable, we may offer a conditional costs arrangement (“no win, no fee”). This means our professional fees and disbursements are payable only in the circumstances set out in the costs agreement. We apply a 30% + GST professional fee cap and do not charge care and consideration or uplift fees.
