Each one received a ballot tailored to their legal specialty and location. Of that group, 352 ballots were returned (23.86%). The total pool of candidates included 945 previously recognized Connecticut lawyers and 382 new nominees. Overall, 22,978 votes were cast. Solely based on a tabulation of these votes, 1,062 lawyers from Connecticut were selected for inclusion in the 2024 edition of The Best Lawyers in America^®.

For the 2024 edition of The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch^® in America, 309 lawyers in the Connecticut region nominated in The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch^® in America were contacted by telephone or email. Each one received a ballot tailored to their legal specialty and location. Of that group, 111 ballots were returned (35.92%). The total pool of candidates included 169 previously recognized Connecticut lawyers and 60 new nominees. Overall, 5,324 votes were cast. Solely based on a tabulation of these votes, 234 lawyers from Connecticut were selected for inclusion in the 2024 edition of The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch^® in America.
