“Our firm is uniquely qualified to handle cases from start to finish, and we are never looking for a quick settlement at the expense of our clients,” says founding partner Benedict Morelli, a trial legend who has been selected as one of New York’s “Superstars” by the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. “Our ability to successfully litigate cases allows us to take on any adversary, big or small, and obtain the results our clients deserve.”

Notably, Morelli Law Firm represented numerous victims who were injured in the 2015 Philadelphia Amtrak train derailment, helping to settle the case for $265 million – the largest settlement in U.S. history for a passenger railroad accident. The firm also secured a $102 million verdict for a worker who was severely injured when he was caused to fall from a height at Live Nation’s Jones Beach Theater.

The firm handled the case all the way through appeal, setting a new record for the largest pain and suffering award for a traumatic brain injury in New York State.

Our ability to successfully litigate cases allows us to take on any adversary, big or small, and obtain the results our clients deserve.”

Additionally, the firm settled a significant case against MGM National Harbor resort on behalf of a 6-year-old girl who was electrocuted by touching a resort handrail.

“We are deeply committed to providing our clients with superior representation,” says managing partner David Sirotkin. “From the attorneys to the support staff, we have a shared sense of purpose that makes our firm a powerful force for good, which is why we're able to achieve such outstanding results for our clients.”

Other notable results include a $95 million verdict in a high-profile sexual harassment trial (one of the largest single-plaintiff sexual harassment verdicts on record), a $62 million verdict in a construction accident involving a 20-year-old worker, a $22.5 million verdict in a polio vaccine case (among the largest vaccine verdicts in U.S. history), and a $41 million verdict against the City of New York in a wrongful death case.

“Many of our clients face lifelong injuries,” notes managing partner Alexander Morelli. “But we are dedicated to ensuring they receive full compensation, and our experience allows us to achieve results that have a real impact on our clients’ lives.”
