Malone Law’s six-decade journey as Georgia’s courtroom trailblazers continued in 2025 and 2026, as the plaintiffs’ firm secured multiple high-value recoveries on behalf of catastrophically injured victims and their families throughout the state. Malone Law focuses on quality over quantity, as demonstrated in 2025 when the firm secured more than $80 million in just six cases on behalf of injured plaintiffs.
These results, in addition to its depth of knowledge, have rightly earned Malone Law annual Tier 1 rankings from Best Law Firms in Atlanta in two different practice areas: Personal Injury Litigation—Plaintiffs and Medical Malpractice Law—Plaintiffs.
Firm owner Adam Malone emphasizes that his firm’s most meaningful impact begins after resolving a catastrophic injury case, when injured clients and their families can begin rebuilding their lives following immense trauma.
“Patients are entitled to trust their healthcare providers. Clients often come to us after enormous physical, financial and emotional devastation inflicted by the very medical providers they relied on for protection,” said Malone, who was named Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in Medical Malpractice Law in Atlanta in 2016 and 2027. “It is a privilege to stand up for them, because every matter we accept is an opportunity to change the harmful systems that allowed the damage in the first place.”
Malone Law was founded by Adam Malone’s late father, Thomas “Tommy” Malone, a pioneering trial lawyer who helped shape modern plaintiffs’ practice in Georgia. Since its inception, Malone Law has guided hundreds of injured people and their families through the aftermath of catastrophic injuries and wrongful deaths arising from medical malpractice and preventable negligence.
“Our cases involve devastating brain damage, paralysis, amputations and injuries that affect people of all ages. This requires a sophisticated understanding of how medicine, safety standards and the law intersect,” said Malone, a former president of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and former chair of the American Association for Justice’s Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group. The firm also litigates cases involving “never events,” which are defined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services as “serious and costly errors in the provision of health care services that should never happen.”
“We invest hundreds of hours in discovery, listen carefully, and leverage technology and demonstrative evidence in thoughtful ways to deliver the true and complete story to juries and judges,” said Malone, a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer. “By identifying protocol failures and careless practices, and pressing for accountability and full compensation, we are making safer systems going forward.”
Malone Law has deepened its talent bench in recent years with the prominence of trial attorneys Meri Benoit Link, a longtime lawyer at the firm; Christopher Carter, a former Mississippi state prosecutor and assistant U.S. attorney; and Wynn B. Sowersby, who brings decades of experience as a former staff attorney for some of Georgia’s most respected trial judges.
In 2025, witness examinations by Link and Carter during a jury trial in Bibb County were instrumental in securing a $6 million verdict for the wrongful death of a 35-year-old man who was discharged from a hospital without being treated for obstructive hydrocephalus resulting from a brain tumor.
“Malone Law honors its roots while investing in where we are going,” Malone said. “Our trial team will always consist of dedicated advocates who believe deeply in using the law to protect people, improve safety, and give injured families a voice.”
