Sylvia Goldschmidt and Donna M. Genovese, founding partners of Goldschmidt & Genovese (G&G), offer their clients a personalized approach, recognizing that the nature of each client’s needs and path to a resolution are distinctive. Cognizant of the emotional component of their field of law, the skilled attorneys at G&G are sensitive to the long-range and collateral impact a divorce and other family law disputes can have upon their clients and the family. The clients of G&G reap the benefits of many decades of combined experience, diverse skills, and leadership.

Ms. Goldschmidt, a trained mediator and collaborative law practitioner, and Ms. Genovese, president of the Association of Collaborative Lawyers of RocklandWestchester with more than one-half century of traditional representation, can offer their clients the skills and knowledge to select an approach toward a resolution that best suits their circumstances.

The partners are leaders in the family and matrimonial community. Ms Goldschmidt, this year’s Family Law “Lawyer of the Year” for White Plains (also awarded that distinction in 2014) is a past-president of the U.S. Chapter of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and the New York Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers; sits on the Executive Committees of the New York State Bar Association’s Family Law Section and the Westchester County Bar’s Domestic Relations Section, and is on the advisory board for the Honoring Families Initiative of IAALS at the University of Denver. Ms. Genovese, a member of the Board of the AAML, New York Chapter, has made presentations to various bar associations and written articles for legal publications.
