Best Lawyers announced this week the 2021 Editions of Best Lawyers in Chile, Colombia, and Puerto Rico. Best Lawyers remains one of the top resources in the Latin American market for identifying industry leaders practicing law.

The Best Lawyers in Chile

We are excited to be partnering with Diario Financiero—a Chilean economic news outlet—for the third time to bring this valuable data to the Chilean market. For this 11^th Edition of The Best Lawyers in Chile, Santiago, CL, is the top metropolitan area by the number of recognized lawyers.

Tax Law was the most-searched practice area on bestlawyers.com in Chile, which was followed by Litigation and then Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions Law which had the most recognized lawyers. The two practice areas that followed were Litigation, and Arbitration and Mediation.

The Best Lawyers in Colombia

For the 11^th Edition of The Best Lawyers in Colombia, we're spotlighting Bogotá, the top metropolitan area by number of recognized lawyers.

The most-searched practice area in Colombia was Tax Law, followed by Labor and Employment Law, Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions Law, and Litigation. Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions Law saw the most growth in terms of the number of recognized lawyers in that practice area. Arbitration and Mediation, Labor and Employment Law, and Tax Law followed.

The Best Lawyers in Puerto Rico

In the Eighth Edition of The Best Lawyers in Puerto Rico, through our sophisticated and transparent peer-review methodology, we found San Juan to be the top metropolitan area by the number of lawyers recognized.

The most-searched practice area was Litigation followed by Labor and Employment Law, Corporate and M&A Law, and Real Estate Law. Litigation was also the practice area with the most recognized lawyers in that field, followed by Corporate and M&A Law, Labor and Employment Law, and Tax Law.
