2022 marks the 14th Edition of The Best Lawyers in Spain™, honoring the professional excellence of 4227 lawyers in 79 practice areas across 29 metropolitan areas.
Best Lawyers is pleased to celebrate 180 “Lawyer of the Year” awards across Spain as well. "Lawyer of the Year" honors are awarded annually to only one lawyer per practice area in each region with extremely high overall feedback from their peers, making it an exceptional distinction.

Eligibility for Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Spain includes being in private practice and a tenure of three to eight years. With the same methodology that is used for The Best Lawyers in Spain™, our Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Spain list uses an advanced process of nominations, peer voting and careful evaluation of results to provide a list of the top legal talent in the industry among newer lawyers. For the 2022 Edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Spain, we recognize 317 lawyers in 17 practice areas. Lawyers are listed in 60 firms across 14 metropolitan areas.

“Law Firm of the Year” awards recognize a single top firm for its work in a specific legal practice area nationwide.
