Todd Zilbert joined Wood Tatum in 1989 and was a partner there from 1993 to 2014, when Wood Tatum joined forces with Lindsay Hart. He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law, and teaches admiralty law as an adjunct professor at Willamette College of Law.
Todd has a litigation practice with an emphasis in maritime law. He has extensive experience in maritime lien claims, including prosecution and defense of vessel arrests and attachments. He has also defended numerous property damage and personal injury claims, including asbestos personal injury claims, and administrative penalties, including U.S. Coast Guard and state administrative penalties arising from vessel-source pollution. He has had trials in the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington, and Multnomah County, Oregon, Circuit Court.
Todd is married with three children. In his spare time he enjoys running and playing handball.
