Case History

Conversion of Tampa Theatre Building — Conversion of the Tampa Theatre Building, a historic site on the national registry, to a non-residential condominium to enable the Tampa Theatre Foundation to acquire ownership the theatre lobby and building facade.  Due to the desire of the the seller, it was necessary to convert the historically significant building facade (approximately one brick thick covering one whole side of the 10-story building) into a condominium unit.  This is the first time to my knowledge that a building facade has been converted into a condominium unit.
Publix Super Markets, Inc. Acquisition from Albertson''s, LLC — Representation of Publix in acquiring 49 stores in various Florida locations from Albertson''s.  The purchase price of the stores was a substantial amount of money.  The organization and management of the due diligence investigation of 49 separate locations presented many challenges as did the simultaneous closing of all 49 stores.
