Case History

Lexington Smoking Ban Litigation — Successful case tried to KY Supreme Court upholding the Lexinton Smoking Ban.   This was the first smoking ban enacted in KY and the first in a tobacco state.
Seattle Slew Litigation — Tried case in Federal Court over dispute between owners of the Triple Crown Winner SEATTLE SLEW.   Obtained one of the largest civil jury verdicts in the EDKY.
Ashland Oil NORM Litigation — Successfully defended Ashland, Inc in a toxic tort case concerned over naturally occuring radioactive materials in EKY.   Over 250 plaintiffs filed suit against Ashland and we obtained a total defense verdict before a jury which was upheld by the KY appellate courts.
