He negotiates and drafts licenses of patent rights, trade secrets, software know-how, and other technology rights to enable clients to monetize and leverage their innovations and creativity, as well as those of others. Considering offensive and defensive issues in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret law, he serves clients in the electrical, electromechanical, Internet, semiconductor, software and electromagnetic technology areas, and also in the furniture and automotive industries.
Matt routinely handles a wide range of intellectual property matters, including technology licenses, patent and trademark applications, and manages and coordinates clients' international intellectual property portfolios. He is admitted to practice as a patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
