Mason Alexander is the managing partner of the Charlotte office. He practices in all areas of labor and employment law.
Mason has represented clients in lawsuits involving all aspects of employment law, from Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and discrimination claims to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and wage and hour claims. Mason is also involved in counseling clients on matters such as employee terminations, plant closures, and exit incentive programs.
He additionally works with clients to develop proactive employee relations plans.
After law school, Mason clerked for the Honorable Robert F. Chapman of the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. Since entering private practice, he has focused exclusively on employment and labor law and is certified as a Specialist in Employment and Labor Law by the Supreme Court of South Carolina.
Mason is "AV" Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been repeatedly recognized in North Carolina Super Lawyers. He has been listed in Chambers USA, America's Leading Business Lawyers since 2008 and in The Best Lawyers in America since 2006. He was also selected for inclusion in The Legal 500 – Labor Management Relations in 2015.
