Marc Legault practices in advertising, marketing and intellectual property law. He advises advertisers and advertising agencies on all legal aspects of their advertising campaign, including copy review, child advertising, contest, comparative advertising and publicity rights. His practice also involves the protection of trademarks and the negotiation and drafting of talent, sponsorship and promotional agreements.
Marc Legault acts as legal counsel for the Association des Professionnels de la Communication et du Marketing (APCM) and for the Association de Marketing Relationnel (AMR), affiliated with the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA). He is also a registered trademark agent, member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. Mr. Legault is a frequent speaker on advertising, marketing and intellectual property law issues.
