With decades of experience in natural resources litigation, Mr. Wolfe's clients depend on him to provide seasoned counsel for the complex issues they face. He advises industrial and extractive clients on tax and royalty litigation and counseling, and he has represented mining, oil and gas, and commercial clients in extensive litigation before the Wyoming tax agencies and in the courts.
Mr. Wolfe maintains an active governmental relations practice before Wyoming state agencies and the Wyoming legislature, as well as dealing with federal agencies and Congress.
Mr. Wolfe's tax experience includes severance, ad valorem, sales and use, railcar, public utilities and local property tax. He has been involved in a number of significant tax cases decided by the Wyoming Supreme Court.
Mr. Wolfe has been a contributing editor to the RIA State and Local Taxation publication and has written a monograph on Wyoming Sales and Use Tax. He is the author or co-author of six published law review articles, including three by the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Institute.
