John Curtin attended Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, where he was a National Merit Scholar. He graduated in 1980, with a bachelor's degree in psychology. he went on to graduate with honors from University of Wisconsin Law School in 1987.
Upon graduation, he was admitted to practice in Arizona and Wisconsin. He is a Life Member of the Arizona Association for Justice (AzTLA), and currently serves as president elect and board member. He is also a Sustaining Member of the American Association for Justice. John Curtin is also the current host and chairman of the Phoenix Medical Malpractice Roundtable.
John Curtin devotes the majority of his professional time to the representation of victims of medical malpractice and their families. Serious injury cases are also accepted on a limited basis.
John Curtin has been married for 21 years to Victoria Curtin. Victoria is a graduate of Stanford Law School, and has a thriving patent litigation practice. They are the only couple in Arizona who keep a home copy of the Rules of Civil Procedure. They have two daughters.
In his free time, John Curtin enjoys travel, cooking and creative writing. He is a three time winner of the Arizona Attorney Creative Arts Competition for short stories and humor pieces.
