Mr. Sinclair provides clients the perspective of an experienced trial lawyer in a wide range of complex disputes. In practice since 1978, Mr. Sinclair has developed a well-seasoned trial practice with an emphasis on business, corporate, and complex litigation matters associated with agricultural product liability, antitrust, class action, complex commercial contract disputes, environmental insurance coverage, insurance coverage and risk management, insurance mass tort, probate disputes, product liability, real estate, and securities litigation.
He is a trial lawyer with extensive bench and jury trial experience, having handled 30 jury trials and 11 bench trials.
He served as lead counsel for DuPont in an agricultural mass action concerning herbicide damage to the crops of more than 100 plaintiffs — a case that lasted for 10 years, including a four-month jury trial. Mr. Sinclair has also represented a local agricultural cooperative in a breach of contract and antitrust jury trial. He has practiced in courts throughout the United States.
Mr. Sinclair is admitted to practice in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Idaho, Washington, and Oregon and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Adams v. DuPont — Mass tort agricultural products liability case defended by Mr. Sinclair. Over 100 Plaintiffs and lasted over 10 years.
Mueller v. St. Lukes Regional Medical Center — Mr. Sinclair defended the regional hospital on both constitutional and tort claims resulting in a defense verdict and multiple appeals to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals
Aardema v. Darigold — Mr. Sinclair defended Darigold against a breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claim by 3 of the largest dairies in the country to a successful defense verdict.
