Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Eric Riegner practiced at Locke Reynolds for 21 years with a focus on product liability, commercial, insurance and general tort litigation. He is a veteran trial lawyer, having secured defense verdicts for his clients in 40 cases tried to verdict. Eric is a member of the firm's Mass Tort Litigation and Insurance Groups.


Served as regional coordinating and trial counsel for a major automotive supplier.

Case History

Chandler v. Wal-Mart — Wrongful death case involving death of 17 year old handicapped child; defended the driver and company at trial with a defense verdict.
Moore v. Ford — Wrongful death case involving allegations of crashworthiness defect, resulting in multi-million dollar verdict, reversed at Court of Appeals. 
Simmons v. Ford Motor Co. — Defense verdict in a trial involving allegations that the design of a passive seatbelt cause plaintiff to suffer quadriplegia.
