Caron is a Partner and solicitor in the London office and has more than 20 years of experience as a lawyer practicing solely in the field of UK immigration and nationality law.
Caron has extensive experience in all categories of applications under the Points Based System (PBS), servicing a wide range of employers in diverse industry sectors including financial services, pharmaceutical, technology and IT, professional services, oil and gas, retail businesses and engineering.
She also advises and manages the process for employers to be licensed as sponsors. This includes providing advisory and strategic advice to employers to ensure that they can meet their enhanced compliance obligations in relation to their migrant population and supporting sponsors through audits and licensing visits by the UKBA.
Caron also advises on the full range of applications covered by the Immigration Rules including visitors, students, sole representatives, family members, long residence applications and applications submitted under European Law.
She is a leading professional on Tier 1 (Investor) applications, acting for both clients of private banks and high net worth individuals worldwide, with a particular profile in Eastern Europe and China.
Caron has also participated in Government panels and workshops to develop and refine policy for PBS categories and has represented business in lobbying exercises.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Caron led the Business Immigration teams in the UK for CMS Cameron McKenna for 4 years and at another large immigration law firm for 5 years. The full CMS Cameron McKenna team moved to Fragomen with Caron in October 2011.
