Nick joined the Stowers Law Firm in April of 2010. Previously, Nick was an Assistant Public Defender at the Hillsborough County Public Defender's Office in Tampa, Florida. During his time there Nick successfully defended a number of defendants through trial. While attending the University of Iowa College of Law Nick clerked at the Federal Public Defender's Offices for the Northern District of California and for the Southern District of Iowa. Nick remains licensed to practice in both Florida and Iowa.

Upon graduation in 2003 from AIB College of Business, Amy began working as a legal assistant for Dean Stowers. Amy has a combined total of 8 years experience as a legal assistant. She has experience in trial support in civil and criminal litigation, transcription, organizing and summariziing discovery materials and preparing legal documents. As a legal assistant, Amy has become highly skilled at complex case organization, including through the use of case management software and techniques. Amy has employed her talents to the benefit of many clients in particularly complex and difficult cases all the way through attending trial as part of a trial team.
