Led by senior partners Margaret (Peggy) McCormick and James Hallagan, the firm is dedicated to providing legal services on a full range of immigration issues. Ms. McCormick leads the employment-based immigration practice. She is the past national president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association as well as past president of the American Immigration Law Foundation, where she was honored as an Honorary Fellow. Since 1986, she has been an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law for the Loyola University School of Law. She is an officer for the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and chairs an annual Immigration and Worksite Enforcement conference.

Mr. Hallagan concentrates his practice in family-based immigration, removal and appeals and manages the firm’s practice in these areas. Spanish speaking, he has a large Hispanic clientele and but also works extensively with other ethnic groups. He has successfully represented clients in the Board of Immigration Appeals and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
