Connecticut Selection Statistics

For the 2013 (19th) edition of The Best Lawyers in America, 516 lawyers in the Connecticut region listed in Best Lawyers were contacted by telephone, email, and/or fax. Each one received a ballot tailored to his or her legal specialty and location. Of that group, 373 ballots were returned (72%). The total pool of candidates included 553 previously-listed Connecticut lawyers and 244 new nominees. Overall, 35,951 votes were cast.

Solely on the basis of a tabulation of these votes, 651 lawyers were selected for inclusion in the 2013 edition of Best Lawyers.
