Mr. Aaron has over thirty-eight (38) years of legal experience in the private and public sectors, and is a former City Attorney for the City of New Orleans, Assistant District Counsel for the U. S. Small Business Administration, Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Louisiana and Special Prosecutor for the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office. . He concentrates his practice in the areas of complex and high profile civil and commercial litigation, state and municipal government, telecommunications, professional liability, banking, insurance, real estate and general business.
Mr. Aaron is a frequent lecturer on law and law related topics, and has served on the adjunct faculties of Loyola University’s College of Business Administration as well as its School of Law. Since 1991 he has served on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) Trial Skills Program as well as its Deposition Program.
Mr. Aaron is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Louisiana Super Lawyers and Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel Edition. He holds an AV Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating. In 2008 and again in 2012 Mr. Aaron received the New Orleans CityBusiness Newspaper’s Leadership in Law Award.
Mr. Aaron is active in bar related activities, and is a former Member and Chairman of the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board.
Mr. Aaron is prominent in local and regional business circles. He has served on the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce (Chairman 2012), the Executive Board of the Jefferson Business Council (Chairman 2016) and the Board of Directors of Greater New Orleans, Inc.
